Parish Care
Parish Care exists to raise awareness about health care within the congregation of Grace United Methodist Church and our community.

"If Jesus had any one mission, it was to bring the power of healing of God's creative loving spirit
to bear on th moral, mental and physical illness of the people around him."

The United Methoidst church understands health as holistic wellness - physical, mental, spiritual, economic, political, and social; being in harmony with each other, the natural environment, and with God. The Parish Care program is a congregation-based, whole-person health ministry that helps people improve their own health within a caring community.

Mission: Parish Care exists to raise awareness about health care within the congregation of Grace Church and our community. We offer help as a daily resource for problems both large and small. We create and encourage opportunities for the congregation to achieve a life of wholeness that encompasses physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health; to serve God through education, improved lifestyle choices, and helping one another.

Volunteering: If you are interested in learning more about volunteering for Parish Care, please contact Penny Chura. We believe that the collective wisdom that emerges from group members can help our congregation become a place of health and healing.

Confidentiality: We are committed to upholding the dignity of every individual. Any personal information shared will be guared in a confidential, ethical manner.

Director of Pastoral Care: Pastor Tom Bailey
